Heart of Gold Bohéme Slip Dress

Introducing Heart of Gold — our beautiful & dramatic new collection that celebrates the bonds in our lives that endure — love, truth, and loyal friends! Designed using an intricate collage of antique artwork, it features hand-painted swallows from an 1865 scrapbook, floral wreaths by artist Karel Batist done in the 1600s, and a very special sacred heart from Notre Dame in France, which was embroidered with gilded thread and completed in 1872. This print is rich in history, but also in meaning.  The two swallows with wings outstretched (traditional symbols of loyalty) carry a ribbon between them as a reminder that even across distances, those we love will always be a part of us. The vintage banner, pulled from a Victorian-era painted sign, proudly displays the motto “friendship, love, and truth”: a simple but significant declaration of what truly matters — the threads that tie us to each other, the loyalty that stands the test of time, and the love that makes it all worth it.

The adjustable straps, oversized cut, and soft, flowy bamboo viscose make our Bohéme dresses a wardrobe staple for layering, running errands, dancing, lounging or napping — and they’re also a must-have for travel, wherever you roam. Like all of our slip dresses, this piece is reversible! Wear it with the heart or bird on the front, depending on your mood. And for an artsy, dramatic touch — we added the illusion of a bird “lifting” the hem at the bottom to reveal the deep coral and butterfly underneath. 

Please note: The nature of our soft bamboo/wood viscose means it’s slightly sheer, so we recommend layering it with our Étoile slip (or any other slip you have) when wearing it with bare legs. Our model in the photos is wearing the dress without a slip.

100% viscose (derived from plant fibres such as bamboo and wood). Machine wash gentle or handwash and hang to dry. Iron to finish if needed.

Width 52cm (across bust, underarm to underarm), 54cm (across waist seam). L/XL — 134 cm length at shortest strap adjustment, 144cm at longest. Width 57cm (across bust, underarm to underarm), 59 cm (across waist seam). Model is 5’9, and is wearing a size S/M for reference.
