Days of Rays 1st Birthday Giveaway – Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

This promotion is conducted by Days of Rays, operated by Days of Rays ABN 96102597917 , located in Eumundi, Queensland, Australia (the Promoter).

2. Promotion Period

The competition opens on 17 October 2026 at 5pm AEST and closes on Monday 26 October 2026 at 5:59pm AEST.

Entries received after the closing time will not be accepted.

3. Eligibility

  • Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over.

  • Employees of Days of Rays and their immediate family members are not eligible.

  • No purchase is necessary to enter.

  • Entry is free, excluding any standard internet or mobile data charges.

4. How to Enter

To enter, eligible participants must:

  1. Visit the official Days of Rays Instagram account, @daysofrays.eumundi.

  2. Find the official 1st Birthday Giveaway post.

  3. Leave a comment answering the birthday outfit question in the giveaway caption.

Each eligible participant may enter once. Multiple comments will not increase the chances of winning.

Following Days of Rays, liking the post or sharing the promotion is appreciated but is not a condition of entry.

5. Prize

One winner will receive a Days of Rays Gift Card valued at AUD $250.

The gift card:

  • Can be redeemed online at www.daysofrays.com.au or in-store at Days of Rays, Eumundi.

  • Is valid for three years from the date of issue.

  • Is not redeemable for cash.

  • May be used across multiple purchases until the balance is exhausted or the card expires.

  • Is subject to applicable Australian Consumer Law and the gift card terms published by Days of Rays.

Total prize pool: AUD $250.

6. Winner Selection

The winner will be selected by a random draw from all valid entries on Monday 26th October 2026 at 6:00pm AEST.

The draw will take place at Days of Rays 97A Memorial Drive Eumundi QLD 4562 using a random selection method that gives every valid entry an equal chance of winning.

The winner does not need to be present.

7. Winner Announcement and Notification

The winner will be announced on the official Days of Rays Instagram account, @daysofrays.eumundi, following the draw.

The Promoter will also attempt to contact the winner via Instagram direct message within seven days.

The winner will be asked to provide the information reasonably required to verify eligibility and arrange delivery of the prize.

8. Prize Delivery and Unclaimed Prizes

The gift card will be delivered electronically to the winner's nominated email address, or may be collected in-store by agreement.

The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner and deliver the prize within one month of the draw.

If the prize remains unclaimed, a redraw will be held on 24 January 2027 at 6:00pm AEST at the original draw location, unless otherwise required by applicable law. Any replacement winner will be notified using the same process.

9. General Conditions

  • Entries must be genuine and comply with Instagram's applicable rules.

  • The Promoter may disqualify entries that are fraudulent, abusive or otherwise breach these terms, acting reasonably and in accordance with applicable law.

  • The Promoter may verify a winner's eligibility before awarding the prize.

  • Any changes to the promotion will be communicated appropriately and made only where permitted by law.

  • Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights or remedies under Australian Consumer Law.

10. Privacy

Personal information provided by the winner will be used to administer the promotion, verify eligibility and deliver the prize.

Information will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and the Days of Rays Privacy Policy available at www.daysofrays.com.au.

Entering this competition does not automatically subscribe participants to marketing communications.

11. Instagram Disclaimer

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram or Meta.

By entering, participants acknowledge that Instagram is not responsible for administering or fulfilling the promotion and release Instagram from liability relating to the promotion to the extent permitted by law.
