Imaginarium Bohéme Slip Dress- Market of Stars

Welcome to the Imaginarium — a whimsical ode to imagination, and the wonder of dreams! Perhaps our most elaborate design yet, we used 9 different works of art layered together to create this romantic & airy print. The sleeping woman comes from Albert Joseph Moore’s enchanting oil painting “Lillies”, while the elements of her dreamscape were created from drawings and paintings spanning three centuries — including scenes from the Boboli Gardens, Argyle House in Scotland, the Tiber River, a Japanese manor house, and a view through the arches of the Roman Colosseum. The 16 candle Chandelier is an imaginary design from a drawing done in 1632, and the fanciful trim is taken from an English textile fragment from 1785. Whatever the realities of life may be, we’ll always dwell in our own little dreamworld — come join us ;)

The adjustable straps, oversized cut, and soft, flowy bamboo viscose make our Bohéme dresses a wardrobe staple for layering, running errands, dancing, lounging or napping — and they’re also a must-have for travel, wherever you roam. You can also wear this piece two ways, with the moon on the front of the bodice, or the back — depending on your mood.

Please note: The nature of our soft bamboo/wood viscose means it’s slightly sheer, so we recommend layering it with our Étoile slip (or any other slip you have) when wearing it with bare legs. Our models in the photos are wearing the dresses without a slip. Shown worn with our Imaginarium Opera Duster (available separately). 

100% viscose (derived from plant fibres such as wood and bamboo). Machine wash gentle or handwash and hang to dry. Iron to finish if needed.

Adjustable straps. Dress measurements: S/M — length 132cm at shortest strap adjustment, 142cm at longest. Width 52cm (across bust, underarm to underarm), 54cm (across waist seam). L/XL — 134 cm length at shortest strap adjustment, 144cm at longest. Width 57cm (across bust, underarm to underarm), 59 cm (across waist seam). Model is 5’6” for reference.
